Assist certain long-term recipients of cash welfare (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) benefits, eligible non-custodial parents and others to move to economic self-sufficiency.
Services Provided:
- Work readiness information and education;
- Work experience/community service;
- On-the-Job Training;
- Job creation through public and private wage subsidies;
- Job placement, post employment service and job retention services;
- Basic education and vocational skills may be provided following employment; and
- Supportive services such as child care and transportation may be provided following employment.

Long-term welfare recipients, non-custodial parents and others.
