Purpose:
To help eligible youth obtain job skills through community service projects.
Services Provided:
- Job placements through work experience at state and community parks and conservation sites, up to 40 hours per week of paid activities;
- High-school equivalency (G.E.D.) classes provided for high-school dropouts;
- Employability skills training at the worksite and through group activities; and
- Career exploration activities designed to expose participants to a variety of job opportunities and post-secondary education.
Out-of-school youth ages 14 through 21 who meet program guidelines.
