Students are encouraged to submit films for Filmfest 4-H

Updated: 1/17/11

Student-made films around the nation are welcome to enter Filmfest 4-H, which will unfold Aug. 1-3 in Branson.

FilmFest 4-H provides a venue for 11-18 year-olds to express their creativity, demonstrate their filmmaking skills and generate even more enthusiasm for digital filmmaking in their home state. This exciting festival is a showcase of films, seminars, workshops and receptions.

Attendees will be exposed to advanced filmmaking techniques from industry professionals, network with fellow youth filmmakers, discover new techniques and ideas, and celebrate their successes. Visit 4h.missouri.edu/filmfest for more info.

Plans Firm Up for 2011 Legislative Day

Updated: 12/21/10

Make attending MOMMA's Legislative Day on February 1 your number one New Year's resolution. For details, select "Events" at the top of the MOMMA home page and select "Calendar."

We have 18 exhibit tables available and need all aspects of the industry represented. Tables are first come, first served and you need to be an early riser (it's worth the effort) as tables set up at 8:30 a.m.

We're working on hotel rates in Jefferson City for those who need to come in the night before. Legislators need to see the depth of this industry. Every exhibit table needs to be filled with a different motion media job represented at each.
