Industry Employment Maps by NAICS Sectors

In September of 2002 Missouri participated in a Bureau of Labor Statistics pilot project to investigate methods for determining correct physical location addresses in the Covered Employment and Wage (ES-202) files and then to geocode those addresses. The test area chosen was the Missouri portion of the Kansas City MSA. The maps below show the distribution of employment by NAICS Sectors based on the results from the project.
